Directions for Use:
Full Strip Preparation:
Strip the floor with an Ecolab stripper at the recommended use dilution. Rinse well and let dry.
Scrub and Recoat Preparation:
Deep scrub with an Ecolab neutral or all-purpose cleaner using a blue pad. Rinse and let dry.
Sealing the Floor:
A sealer is not required with Gemstar Polaris on most resilient floors. If a sealer is desirable due to floor porosity (e.g., terrazzo) or for protection against staining spills, apply one to two coats of an Ecolab sealer.
Application:
Gemstar Polaris may be applied in a thin, medium or heavy coats depending on the application technique. Thin coverage: 3,500 sq. ft. per gallon. Heavy to thin coverage: 2,000 - 4,000 sq. ft. per gallon.
Maintenance:
Dust mop. Autoscrub or damp mop with an Ecolab neutral cleaner. Prepare floors with Ecolab cleaner/maintainer prior to burnishing. Burnish 1-3 days/week with combination synthetic/natural blend pads.
Slip Resistance:
Gemstar Polaris meets or exceeds the CSMA benchmark for slip resistance as determined by ASTM D-2047.
