Test a small, hidden area of material before using on the rest of carpet or upholstery.
Use as a pre-spray cleaner:
Vacuum the carpet before pre-spraying. Dilute 1-2oz/gal of 3 in 1 Carpet Cleaner and Spot Remover. Using a pump up sprayer, spray carpet until it is moist but not wet. Allow the product to dwell 5-10mins before extracting.
Use as an extraction cleaner:
Vacuum the carpet before extracting. Dilute 1-2oz/gal of 3 in 1 Carpet Cleaner and Spot Remover. Warm water is recommended to use for oily soils. Extract the carpet and allow the carpet to dry thoroughly. Fans can be used to speed the drying process.
Use as a carpet spotter:
Not approved on wool as a spotter. Remove excess debris with spoon, spatula or towel. Dilute 8oz/gal of 3 in 1 Carpet Cleaner and Spot Remover and wet the stained area to be cleaned. Let the product dwell on surface for 2-5mins. Cover spot with white terry cloth and tamp towel with spotting brush. Rotate the cloth as cleaner and spot are absorbed. Repeat tamping and allow spot to air dry.
Use as a carpet buff (spin-bonneting):
Dilute 2oz/gal of 3 in 1 Carpet Cleaner and Spot Remover. Soak spin-bonnet into diluted solution. Wring out bonnet well. Buff the carpet at low speed and flip bonnet when soiled. Set carpet pile with rake and allow carpet to dry.
Use as an upholstery cleaner:
Vacuum thoroughly and use the upholstery attachment/furniture tool of the extraction cleaner. Dilute 1-2oz/gal of 3 in 1 Carpet Cleaner and Spot Remover and place it in the extractor. Clean upholstery, making sure to not over wet the fabric and cushion. Use fans to speed up the drying process.
